Dr. Alicia Young boasts an extensive 26-year career dedicated to pediatric physical therapy. Specializing in Early Intervention and private practice, she currently serves as the owner of Young Consulting Group. She also serves on the Physical Therapy Alumni Association board for the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and also the Quality Assurance Board for the Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. Dr. Young is also a guest lecturer for the Nevada Early Intervention Professional Development Program, assisting with the development of training modules for their DS Series. She has also been involved in the development of the Vision Specialist Series. Currently, she is an NV LEND trainee and also serves as a mentor for the NV chapter of the APTA.

Dr. Young graduated with her Master’s in Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center (now Anschutz Medical) campus in 1999. She recently completed a clinical Doctor of Physical Therapy degree with an emphasis on Pediatrics in December 2023 from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Provo, Utah. Dr. Young has called Las Vegas, NV, home for the last 19 years. She has dedicated her career to serving her community in various educational and healthcare settings.

Through her valuable contributions to pediatric care and her involvement in multiple early intervention programs, such as Nevada Early Intervention Services, Alicia has demonstrated a strong commitment to improving the lives of children. Her most recent endeavors have led her to the private sector, where she is determined to bring together a group of collaborative allied health professionals with the common goal of serving our most medically fragile pediatric patients in their own homes.
